This is not an infomercial but I just wanted to say I received 10 tops (5 sitka and 5 wrc listed as #3 grade) from a guy on ebay and they are perfect for beginners like me. The best part is, they are very stiff and the only problem visible was some color variations, which I happen to like. Total only came to 55 bucks. His ebay name is rct54. Again, I am not an infomercial but thought all the beginners out there might be interested.

Frank, I've purchased builing supplies from Robert Tibbet before and have always been very happy with his wood. In fact all of the bracewood I have on hand was purchased from him. He has expanded the supplies he carries in the last year or so and I'm sure he will provide you with a price list if you request it.

Hi Frank,
I also bought some spruce bracewood to practice making braces. The quality was not the best, but for learning purposes it was OK.
I also bought 5 pc of back splice spruce which was not very good at all. You have to watch him. He's actually honest and tells you the grade you are buying.
Regards, Walter
